Hermes Eau des Merveilles 10th Anniversary Edition

Hermes celebrates a decade since the launch of the beautiful fragrance Eau des Merveilles with a limited edition in a restyled bottle. The new bottle is intended for collectors and fans of the original fragrance Eau des Merveilles, with the distinctive shape encrusted with a metal brace (frame) in silver color. The design of the bottle’s glass carries on the tradition and imaginative play that has been going on for ten years. The slightly curved glass surface in warm orange tones shows a sunset and a handful of tiny, glittering stars that adorn the body of the bottle.

The official site of Hermes describes Eau des Merveilles as “an enchanting fragrance that encapsulates the spirit of wood, the memory of oceans and the sparkle of a constellation.”

Eau des Merveilles was launched in 2004 and created in cooperation with perfumersRalf Schwieger and Nathalie Feisthauer. The composition reinterprets the impression that a miraculous water would leave on us with a compound of sparkling, luminous and warm aromas that infest the skin and all our senses. The scent combines citrus juices of oranges and lemons, nuanced with elemi resin, with a fine blend of spices and woody accords of fir, vetiver and cedar, surprising us with its sharpness and calmed down by a precious balsamic layer. This extraordinary blend of notes is upgraded and modified by variations that were launched thorough the years. After its debut, sweeter and more resinous edition Elixir des Merveilles was presented, as well as significantly more oriental and hotter L'Ambre des Merveilles that plays with the warmth of resins, and Eau Claires des Merveilles which provides a floral and light twist on the debut.
