Francis Kurkdjian apresentou uma edição limitada, LE BEAU PARFUM LIMITED EDITION, que vem num frasco gravado à mão. Seus motivos florais são o trabalho do designer Yui Tanaguchi que cobriu as gravações florais com ouro. A caixa da edição especial é assinada por Francis Kurkdjian.

A composição da fragrância traz uma rica combinação floral de tuberosa e jasmim da Índia, flor de laranjeira da Tunisia e ylang-ylang de Madagáscar. A edição original da fragrânia, Le Beau Parfum, foi apresentada na primavera, em honra dos 150 anos da loja Printemps em Paris, enquanto o luxuoso frasco em edição limitada, decorado com o anteriormentre mencionado padrão floral dourado, está sendo apresentado antes do Natal.

Francis Kurkdjian presented a limited holiday edition, LE BEAU PARFUM LIMITED EDITION, which arrives in hand-engraved flacon. Its floral motive is the work of designer Yui Tanaguchi who covered the floral engravings with gold. The outer carton of the special holiday edition is signed by Francis Kurkdjian.

The composition of the fragrance provides a rich floral blend of tuberose and jasmine from India, orange blossom from Tunisia and ylang-ylang from Madagascar. The original edition of the fragrance, Le Beau Parfum, was presented in spring, in honor of 150 years of the Printemps store in Paris, while the luxurious limited flacon, decorated with the already mentioned golden floral print, is now being introduced right before the upcoming holidays.

As Absolue Pour Le Soir touched my skin I immediately had a feeling of deja-vu. Something familiar but at the same time pleasing and intriguing. It took me a few more minutes to realize that the skanky/animalic opening of this composition bought to my mind of a sort of mash-up between Musc Ravageur and Muscs Koublai Khan. Don't get me wrong, Absolue Pour Le Soir is not exactly similar to either of the aforementioned fragrances but it surely shares with them the dirty-sexy vibe. It opens with a strong animalic note enriched by benzoin and cedarwood but where Musc Ravageur introduces lavender and turns really soon into a gourmandic spicy vanilla and Muscs Koublai Khan settles into a "cleaner" musky rose, this one stays pretty dark and mantains the intitial skunky vibe throughout. Honeyed rose and smoky frankincense make their appearance in the middle phase adding extra boldness and a dense syrupy aspect.



Overall I'd say that APLS represents a step forward among dark muscs and brings this kind of fragrances to a brand new level where the challenging animalic nuances are enriched by incredible refinements and details. Not for everybody, but if you think MKK is too challenging/rough and Musc Ravageur turns too soon into a gourmandic vanilla, Absolue Pour Le Soir could be a valid option, if not a step forward. Personally I rank it among my favorite compositions in its genre.

A maison Francis Kurkdjian fez uma rigorosa pesquisa em aromaterapia para construir uma colonia euforiante e envolvente que não saisse dos moldes das francesas conceituadas como Eau de Cartier.O resultado foi uma fragrância com saída perfeita de limão e bergamota sendo equilibrada pelo Jacinto que é harmonizante e o Ylang Ylang que é afrodisíaco. O que segue é um blend com violetas bem pronunciadas e um toque floral claro e frágil. A julgar pelas aparencias Kurkdjian queria que a colonia fosse totalmente sedutora já que as notas ambaradas deixam um rastro de sedução e desejo por onde você passa

Francis Kurkdjian cria e lança uma nova versão mais forte de Aqua Vitae como uma espécie de encontro entre água e sol. A fragrância foi chamada AQUA VITAE FORTEe ao contrário da primeira versão unisex de 2013, a nova versão irá conter notas mais ricas, mais florais e cítricas salientadas com especiarias quentes criando uma composição brilhante e solar.

As notas de topo da fragrância se baseiam em luminosas notas cítricas entre as quais o papel principal pertence à tangerina siciliana e à bergamota da Calábria e ao limão embelezado com um trio especiado de canela de Ceilão, cardamomo da Guatemala e pimenta rosa de Sichuan. O coração engloba extrato de flor de laranjeira da Tunísia e ylang-ylang de Madagáscar, enquanto a base é construída com notas amadeiradas de sândalo de Mysore e vetiver do Haiti.

Francis Kurkdjian creates and launches a new, stronger version of Aqua Vitae as a sort of meeting between water and sun. The fragrance was named AQUA VITAE FORTE and unlike the first unisex version from 2013, the new version will contain richer, fuller floral and citrus notes enhanced with hot spices creating a bright and solar composition.

Top notes of the fragrance are based on luminous citrus notes among which the main role belongs to Sicilian mandarin and Calabrian bergamot and lemon embellished with a spicy trio of Ceylon cinnamon, Guatemalan cardamom and Sichuan pink pepper. The heart encompasses Tunisian orange blossom extract and Madagascar ylang-ylang, while the base is constructed of woody notes of Mysore sandalwood and Haitian vetiver.

Maison Francis Kurkdjian announces the release of a new scent in the Oud Mood collection, Oud Satin Mood, which will launch in May 2015.

The collection interprets the different facets of oud-based fragrances through the tactile sensation of different fabrics against the skin. To date we've had Oud Cashmere Mood, Oud Silk Mood and Oud Velvet Mood. Oud Satin Mood arrives just in time for warm summer weather and offers Bulgarian rose, Turkish rose, violet, benzoin and vanilla to complement the oud.

Oud Satin Mood will be available as a 70 ml eau de parfum, in the characteristic flacon for the Oud Mood collection with the exception of the entirely black surface, which is unique for this perfume.

Maison Francis Kurkdjian presents the new women’s fragrance which arrives exclusively on the Japanese market. The perfume arrives after women’s fragrance Feminin Pluriel  which also includes roses framed in flowers of iris, violet, jasmine and lily of the valley. The composition of the new fragrance is inspired by Marie Antoinette’s love of roses and the portrait of Marie Antoinette À La Rosepainted by Louise Elisabeth Vigée-Lebrun, in which she is holding a rose in her hand.

Maison Francis Kurkdjian À La Rose is composed of two sorts of roses, Damascus rose and Turkish rose absolute, carefully refreshed with a citrusy blend of bergamot, orange and lemon in the top notes. Powdery floral notes are combined with a bouquet of roses and velvety violets, while base notes provide character with woody notes of cedar.
