H & M Release Duo Of Perfumes The New Noir & Mandarin Gold (2015)

Mass and hip fashion label H&M have released a new duo of perfumes called The New Noir - an ode to oud - and Mandarin Gold - a splash of Sicilian citruses with spices...

Mandarin Gold is described as "A warm, indulgent scent inspired by sun-dappled Sicilian orange groves. Floral neroli and lush mandarin blend with delicate cardamom and mellow amber for an elegant, spicy finish."

The New Noir is "A dark, sensual scent with an alluring air of mystery. A modern blend of Turkish rose, rich oud and sweet sandalwood create a refined, sophisticated statement."

Both concoctions are available as body mists as well with a 3rd blend called Buttercream Dream only available in that formulation, not as an eau de toilette.

Those are limited-editions EDTs.

Also in the pipelines is the Balmain x H&M perfume due to be launched at the beginning of December 2015 on a separate schedule from the fashion collection which sold out this month.

The collaboration between H&M and the house of Balmain attracted the public’s attention and besides a fashion collection it resulted in a perfume expected on the market in December, 2015. In addition to the perfume H&M Balmain, the fashion house of H&M presents two other fragrances accompanying the existing perfume collection.

Mandarin Gold is a women’s perfume whose composition was characterized as light, fluffy, easy to wear and warm. It was inspired by sunny parts of Sicily where orange trees blossom. A union of neroli and juicy mandarin flavors blend with delicate, spicy chords of cardamom and the warmth of amber to ensure a comfortable drydown. Mandarin Gold was presented as a limited edition 55ml Eau de Toilette. Besides the EDT, the offer also includes a 160ml Mandarin Gold Body Mist.

The New Noir poses contrast to Mandarin Gold since it offers a darker composition full of mystery. A modern mixture of Turkish rose, intense oud and milky sandalwood create sophisticated, elegant shades. The New Noir was presented as a limited edition 55ml Eau de Toilette, as well as the body mist version in 160ml flacons.

Both fragrances can be found on the official website H&M Canada priced at $12.99 CD. Lighter versions of the two new fragrances, Body Mists, are priced at $5.99 CD.

H&M presents five new scents in Summer 2015. Those are: Rose Reverie, Caribbean Crush, Midnight Muse, Cashmere Haze and Urban Verve.

Rose Reverie is announced as a romantic and feminine fragrance with a touch of audacity. Magnolia and mandarin in the top give a sweet touch to the dewy heart of damask roses. Precious woods and sensual musk gently develop in the base.

Caribbean Crush is a fragrance inspired by lush rainforests of the Caribbean and St.Lucia. Fruit accords of mango encounter exotic flowers in the core, while velvety musk and creamy coconut provide warmth and depth to the composition.

Midnight Muse is an elegant and sensual fragrance with flirtatious finish. Sweet woody notes and a creamy vanilla make an introduction to the base of amber and patchouli.

Cashmere Haze is a clean, powdery scent with a subtle, soothing finish. Lily of the valley and jasmine blend with vanilla and sandalwood.
