Dolce & Gabbana launches its annual limited editions for summer 2016 of the famous fragrances Light Blue from 2001 and Light Blue Pour Homme from 2007. The new citrusy - fresh scents are named Light Blue Love in Capri and Light Blue Pour Homme Beauty of Capri, inspired by the summer atmosphere at the Italian island of Capri.

Light Blue Love in Capri is a dynamic fragrance with the aromas of the islands such as citrus fruits and white flowers. It opens with fresh mandarin and lemon, leading to the heart of honeysuckle and a woody base of cedar and musk.

Assim como nas edições anteriores, Dolce Rosa Excelsa evoca a Sicília e a mulher italiana, as principais fontes de inspiração do duo de designers.

A composição começa com frutas exóticas como a flor de papaia e as folhas frescas de neroli. O ingrediente assinatura da coleção, a amarílis branca, está no coração da composição, junto com o nenúfar branco e a abrótea. O coração continua a seduzir com dois tipos de rosas: a primeira vez que a rosa African Dog é usada e o absoluto de rosa turca. Dolce&Gabbana The One Royal Night

Announced as mysterious, sophisticated and extremely masculine, the new exclusive fragrance The One Royal Night is out in fall 2015 and represents an oriental edition of the original The One for Men fragrance from 2008. Available exclusively in selected stores around the world, this new addition to the Dolce & Gabbana The One collection offers a fragrant journey to the Middle East.

Its oriental - woody composition begins with notes of cardamom (two types of cardamom oil) and basil. Wild pear wood, a dry wood with a leathery note, and spicy nutmeg form the heart, followed by the oriental base of amber, cedar, sandalwood and labdanum.

The bottle is decorated with dark hues and golden details such as a rectangular cap, the Arabic name and Dolce & Gabbana The One logo.

POUR HOMME BY DOLCE & GABBANA (1994)

I don’t know how Pour Homme smells today, but I recently acquired an early Euroitalia bottle of this (mostly for nostalgia, as I wore this fragrance in the Nineties, without even loving it that much back then) and all I can say is that it smells, well, really good. Not exciting, not particularly fascinating... but just totally, really good. Almost astonishingly good. All I get is lavender, tobacco, a drop of creamy, slightly orange-infused citrus and a mellow, agreeably sweet base of musk, vetiver and tonka, initially briefly refreshed by a sort of Mediterranean herbal-tea accord in which I think I get mostly sage and something like thyme paired with, well, “something” that reminds me of juicy bittersweet black tea (that may be due to tobacco, though; fresh grounded tobacco has often a tea-like aroma).

The notes may sound a bit generic, while the result is inexplicably complex, totally unique and recognizable, way more than it may seem by reading the composition. In fact I can’t really think of anything similar to this, maybe some facets of vintage Dreamer by Versace for the same tobacco-musk-lavender “clean and warm” base, or some other tobacco designer scents, but that’s a long shot in any case since there’s quite something more – and mostly better – going on in Dolce & Gabbana pour Homme. I guess this uniqueness is due to the way musk, tobacco, tonka and citrus interact, they create “something” really comforting, clean (musk and lavender), slightly sweet and warm (tonka and tobacco, plus that “tea” accord I mentioned above) but with a really classy touch of tart, herbal citrus freshness, which altogether create an uplifting sense of confidence, affability and informality with a sultry shade of class, a perfect balance I rarely found in other fragrances. Guess this is an example of how a skillful, eclectic and mature composition smells like. Maybe uncreative, but not anything has to (try to...) be creative. Truly a soothing classy sillage with just the right hint of clean, smoothly modern and understated “genericness” which makes this fragrance a really enjoyable and solid everyday option, with a particular “youthful” vibe. Quite linear, but if something smells this nice, that’s just a plus.

Given the number of negative reviews I read about Pour Homme I assume that today it smells probably a bit more synthetic and harsh than it used to, and I can really believe that since the quality of Euroitalia works of the Eighties/Nineties was quite much higher if compared to today’s standards among designers – not to mention Dolce & Gabbana usual standards, which make Pour Homme even more a unique standout. The early Made in Italy version surely has some soapy-synthetic feel especially on the musky-lavender notes, but overall it has an undisputable solid quality and a remarkably rich, fulfilling and breezy texture that makes it really worthy a sniff – if not a blind purchase in case of good deals (way more than the nice albeit totally overrated By Man in my opinion, to mention the only other masculine Dolce & Gabbana scent worth some care).

As elegantes notas de topo de coentro, mangericã e toranja levam ao coração onde existe uma combinação de gengibre, flor de laranjeira e cardamomo. Tabaco, um sensual âmbar e cedro deixam sua marca na base do perfume.

Dolce & Gabbana presents the new version of the feminine fragranceThe One from 2006. The One Essence comes out in September 2015 as the highest concentration of original composition. It is described as the scent of warmth, elegance and luster, inspired by luxurious materials.

The composition retains the original notes. It begins with fresh bergamot, mandarin, peach and litchi. The heart unfolds with white flowers of jasmine and lily and turns into the warm base of amber, vetiver and vanilla.

O premiado Light Blue é um perfume que lembra sol e mar. Com uma saída bem cítrica e uma evolução amadeirada incensada a fragrância tem um ar misterioso e másculo, levemente comum. O Aroma de Junípero ( uma fragrância pungente, herbácea, apimentada, assemelhada ao pinho e à cânfora ) deixa um leve cheiro de ervas na composição . O fundo é amadeirado e almiscarado. Bem conhecido e com clientela cativa, Light Blue é uma das raras fragrâncias que agrada a quase todos os homens e às mulheres. Longevidade e Projeção moderadas.

Dolce&Gabbana The One for Men Eau de Parfum

Dolce & Gabbana launched The One for Men in 2008 as the fragrance intended to become a masculine classics. In 2015, The One for Men Eau de Parfum appears as an enhanced, denser version of the scent.

The elegant top notes of coriander, basil and grapefruit are leading to the heart where there is a warm blend of ginger, orange blossom and cardamom. Tobacco, sensual amber and cedar leave their mark at the base of the perfume.

It is available as 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum in a dark bottle of the original design.
 

Sicily de Dolce&Gabbana de Nathalie Lorson

É um oriental de certa forma complexo de descrever mas considero um achado na perfumaria feminina. Tem uma saída frutal fresca com notas de banana que quase  cobrem o delicado aroma da Flor de laranjeira e da Bergamota. O aroma de Madressilva (perfume de jasmim desabrocham no fim do inverno) se soma às proprias notas de jasmim deixando um rastro de flores brancas porém o Jascinto ( verde , herbáceo-especiado , balsâmico, com um toque frutal) e o Hibisco ( adocicado verde) dão um toque mais discreto ás notas de banana que se se estendem pela fragrância. O heliótropo (Aroma semelhante a baunilha com intensidade moderada) mantém a fragrância adocicada na medida certa e a sensualidade fica por conta de um fundo oriental almiscarado com um toque de nós moscada e Sândalo.  É um perfume charmoso, elegante, de uso perene. Não indico para quem gosta de fragrâncias que lembram meninas, ele lembra madame.Ótima fixação e projeção.

Dolce de Dolce&Gabbana (2014)

Um perfume que não me impressionou porém tem o mérito de ser bem primaveril e usual. Sua saída tem um leve adocicado floral verde, Muita amaryllis e flor de papaia. Ele é almiscarado o tempo todo porém o destaque é floral, a fragrância continua com um floral forte ,Aroma de Narciso e Neróli, mas tem mais algo que deixa o floral até apelativo, as notas de flor de vitória régia deveria refrescar a fragrância já que a flor de papaia também tem essa característica porém  ela é somente levemente fresca. O fundo é amadeirado levemente adocicado. É bem feminino e creio que não agradará a todas porém tem um romantismo marcante. A Longevidade e Projeção são moderadas quase tendendo para o suave. 

- Camélia - A Camélia é uma flor que ganhou fama mundialmente em razão de um dos mais célebres romances do século XIX, escrito por Alexandre Dumas (Filho), cujo nome é “A Dama das Camélias“. Publicado em 1848, o romance narrava a história da linda cortesã Margarida Gautier com o jovem burguês Armand Duval. A personagem Margarida Gautier, foi criada com inspiração numa cortesã de nome Marie Duplessi, pela qual Alexandre Dumas (Filho) foi perdidamente apaixonado. A dama, como nos narra o livro, faleceu aos 23 anos, vítima da tuberculose e a Camélia está ligada a esta jovem cortesã, porque a mesma adorava estar rodeada de flores, entretanto o aroma das rosas lhe fazia mal e por isso na altura optou por decorar toda a sua casa com Camélias ( Leve e delicado) 

The One Desire de Dolce&Gabbana (2013) de Givaudan

Esse é um dos melhores orientais florais femininos que saíram na atualidade. Os fãs de The One vão gostar mais do que os Fãs de The One Roses. Desíre é mais intenso com notas doces de caramelo,baunilha e lichia , o deixa bem marcante e docinho. O que segue é uma explosão floral onde as notas de tuberosa e lírio, as vezes da pra sentir o frescor da bergamota e o leve e delicado aroma de tangerina. As notas de Âmbar deixam o perfume mais sedutor e o Sândalo da um toque amadeirado as notas de fundo. É um perfume marcante, muito bom para climas frios. 

The One Desire de Dolce&Gabbana (2013) por Givaudan

Sentir The one Desíre de D&G é como entrar no enigmático e sedutor. Sai em lichia e logo se percebe a tuberosa funcionando como um bouquet de flores brancas, participando e preenchendo todos os espaços que já estão tomados por baunilha e nuances de caramelo. Esse doce confundi os sentidos, dando uma sensação de que anoiteceu e você vai sair para abalar as estruturas com as amigas. A piramide olfativa consta de notas frescas, que praticamente não aparecem . A estrutura esta sempre pairando em torno da tuberosa, de um toque frutal e do adocicado da baunilha com o caramelo. Sândalo completa a mistura que é quente, feminina e encantadora. Em determinados momentos aparece âmbar, rico e potente. 

É uma fragrância agradável e que foi criada para seduzir. A pele parece absorver e exalar sensualidade, como um convite a uma noite  de amor. Ele inebria, desconcerta e se atreve. Difícil imagina-lo de outra forma.
