Mary Kay Cityscape For Her & Him (2015)

American direct sales brand Mary Kay have launched a duo of her-and-him perfumes called Cityscape eau de parfum for Her and Cityscape cologne for Him...

Cityscape for Her edp was composed by perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux of Givaudan. He explained,

"I was inspired by the distinct beauty of the Phantomia orchid ... it is the ultimate signal of sophistication since you can only appreciate its beauty in a specific moment during the night."

It opens on top notes Bergamot, Pink Pepper, Red Currant, Apricot and Violet Leaves leading to a heart showcasing the star floral of the brew, Phantomia Orchid Scent TREK® together with Orange Flower Absolute, Peony and Florentine Orris. The base shimmers with Sandalwood, Damson Plum, Sustainable Vanilla Beans from Madagascar Orpur®, Angelica and Amber.

Cityscape for Him cologne is co-signed by perfumers Linda Song and Olivier Gillotin of Givaudan, who said,

"For this cologne, it all began with the whiskey barrel accord. This combination of wood accents and warmth is quite masculine. It is reminiscent of an elegant man and where we really drew our inspiration from."

The cologne opens on top notes of Italian Bergamot, French Lavender and Pepper seguing into a heart of Geranium Oil Egypt ORPUR®, Orange Flower and the fameux Whiskey Barrel Accord. The base deepens with Cedarwood, Sandalwood, Patchouli Oil Indonesia ORPUR®, Vetiver, Amber and Mediterranean Rockrose.
