Alexandre.J Ultimate Collection

by:

French niche perfume house Alexandre.J presents three new fragrances Pure ArtHeavenLiyoli within the Ultimate Collection. The fragrances are inspired by art, sculptures and paintings, and the bottles were created with Pâte de Verre technique.

Pure Art is inspired by the royal palace of Versailles as a world of elegance, bright colors, blue silk ... The fragrance is placed in a crystal bottle with a blue lid, decorated with enamel, pearls and Swarovski crystals. “The Royal Court of Versailles was a world of elegance. The bright colors worn by the courtesans resembled an exotic jungle. That is because their fabrics came from afar!  During their travels they developed dazzling colors and bewitching fragrances. At the oriental markets, the rolls of fabrics gave a pale hint of their beauty. To reach Europe, they had to travel through thousands of miles of desert. Spread out on camelbacks, they absorbed the electric blue of the sky and the scent of the sand.  Then they crossed the seas. The sparkling blue of the waves further stoked their colors.  At Versailles, it was rumored that Queens adored these silks for the harmony of their blues.”
Top notes: Italian bergamot, cedar
Heart: jasmine, oud
Base: sandalwood, ambrette, heliotrope, tonka bean, black vanilla, patchouli

Heaven is powdery, icy, cotton-like scent inspired by clouds, fantasy and heavenly journeys with balloons. “The most precious treasure in my extravagant collections is a hot air balloon. It is one of the oldest, decorated with golden arabesques. I named it Heaven, in tribute to our celestial voyages. On board, as I fly through the clouds, the blue-green of the expanses of the earth gives way to white. Pure white as far as the eye can see. Each airborne outing is like a ticket to paradise. It is hard to come back down to earth. Luckily, I am still perfumed with the cottony scent of the clouds; otherwise no one would believe I took these fabulous trips.”
Top notes: grapefruit, bergamot, lemon
Heart: orange blossom, green notes, snowy notes
Base: white musk, precious woods, pink pepper, vetiver

Liyoli is a fragrance inspired by the legend of Boreas, the god of ice that frozen all the flowers to deny other gods for that pleasure. Flowers turned into diamonds with sharp edges...” Long, long ago, nature was in the hands of the Gods and suffered their epic battles. Boreas, the God of Ice, froze the flowers in an icy armor to hold their delights captive. Touched by his breath, the fragile petals were transformed into diamonds with sharp, brittle edges. Beautiful for all eternity but lacking its essence, nature was a sparkling wonderland. The Sun God up in the heavens loved to smell the sweet fragrance of roses that floated up to him. He was furious when he realized what Boreas had done and sent two of his sunbeams to warm the Earth. The ice melted and the flowers shook off their petals, releasing rose water that was gathered up in Liyoli.”
Top notes: grapefruit, aquatic notes
Heart: jasmine, peach
Base: cedar, white musk, vanilla, violet, precious woods, sandalwood
