Soft and feminine, pink will be a definite trend this season, which is already reflected both in fashion and in the "wave" of new perfume editions. Among the prominent editions that we await on the shelves of perfumeries in the coming weeks and months are:

We've also already announced Le Parfum Rose Couture Elie Saab, Dior J'adore Lumiere, La Vie Est Belle L'Eau de Toilette Floreale by Lancome, Ever Bloom Extrait Absolut by Shiseido, Hugo Boss Extreme, Dolce Fiore Emozione of Salvatore Ferragamo, Annick Goutal Rose Pompon, Givenchy Eclat Precieux, Eau de Cartier Essence de Paradise, Boss Ma Vie Pour Femme Intense, Live Irresistible by Givenchy and even Thierry Mugler Angel Muse whose pink bottle enshrines an irresistible gourmand. I can bet we can expect even more pink in the coming days...
Besides the pink nuances of the bottles, new fragrances will share the prominent floral composition celebrating the scents of roses, although the popularity of iris continues its presence.
Most new editions are "formally" successors to existing fragrances, expanding the subcollections and bringing a repetitive bottle design with an emphasis on pink to the perfume shelves. Judging by the (pale pink, powdery pink and pink) trendy nuances, we will have a very romantic perfume year!

Actually, NUDE EDITIONS (Nude trend from 2014) is followed now with a powdery rose wave, bringing into focus a very strong connection with trends in fashion and popularity of makeup (nuances of matte powders, blushes, lispticks and nail polishes)! |
Some of the newest editions of the "pink wave" that we have not yet covered or described in our news, but to which I would like to draw special attentionto: Blumarine Rosa, successor of the fragrance Ninfea Blumarine presented last year, and Salvatore Ferragamo Emozione Dolce Fiore, successor of the original Emozione, also from last year.
Both editions praise flower compositions and promote the ultimate romantic style. More than lovely, Valentino Valentina Poudree is one of the fragrances I am looking forward to trying (and buying) just as the new, creamy, rose Narciso, because both are teasing me with their powdery milky compositions, very soft, gentle and seductive. The designs of the both bottles perfectly fit the powdery theme and compositions, just like the powdery pink trend itself.
Blumarine Rosa appeared on the market in late February, 2016 and arrived in a glass flacon shaped like previous editions Blumarine Anna from 2014 and Blumarine Ninfeafrom 2015. The emphasis is on its top, which is made in the form of a flower. Stylized peony adorns Anna; water lily crowns the bottle of Ninfea; and the new pinkBlumarine Rosa receives a stopper in the form of a blooming rose. The composition is signed by perfumer Sophie Labbe and it possess a floral-oriental character. Top notes of sparkling bergamot, honeyed freesia extrait and sesame leads us to an intoxicating heart woven out of rose petals, tuberose and white lily. The base gives aromas of patchouli softened with musk and vanilla cream evoking the beautiful Blumarine silk dress. The fragrance is available in bottles of 30 and 50 ml Eau de Parfum.

Salvatore Ferragamo Emozione Dolce Fiore is available from February, 2016. Its bottle has the same shape as last year's Emozione with the difference in colored glass and stopper now in a delicate powdery pink shade. The name of the fragrance promises a new emotion that evokes the sweetness of flowers, in this case the iris, soaked with the irresistible fruity sweetness of velvety peach. White musk is surrounding the powdery-floral core, giving a fine dose of sedduction, creaminess and sensuality. The fragrance will be available in 30, 50 and 92ml Eau de Toilette flacons.

Valentina Collection by Valentino will be strengthened this year with Valentina Poudree whose composition is signed by perfumer Aurelien Guichard. Iris is also a key note in this floral composition covered with specific terracotta powder accords. The intoxicating floral heart strengthens tuberose, lying on a soft, creamy base of sandalwood and vanilla. The fragrance comes in a beautiful powdery pink Valentina bottle with a distinctive flower in the front.
