Ex Nihilo Love Shot

The French niche brand Ex Nihilo, founded in 2014, has 10 fragrances so far, as well as 2 conceptual fragrances and three scented candles and right before Valentine's Day the house introduces a new perfume. Their inspiration with architecture and design in general, showcased for example in an interesting project for the French car company Peugeot, sets them apart from others through their style and promotion of the collection. Back in 2014, Ex Nihilo created two fragrances that represent olfactive identities for two conceptual cars by  Peugeot and which were introduced at the car fair in Paris of that year. French Vetiver was the fragrance inspired by design of the conceptual car model Quartz, while Santal Sacre was inspired by the model Exalt.
Each of the fragrances is followed by modern promo posters suggesting the love that the brand’s founders and owners, Olivier Royere, Sylvie Loday and Benoit Verdierhave for architecture and contemporary design. The latest edition, LOVE SHOT, will thrill all fans of the current collection, but also of modern chypre fragrances in general. The composition was signed by a perfumer of the house of Givaudan, Nathalie Gracia-Cetto, who also created last year’s edition Sweet Morphine for the house, and who we know from collaborations with the houses of Chloe, Burberry, Boucheron, Emilio Pucci, Escada etc.

Love Shot follows after Sweet Morphine which was launched in 2015 and which initiated the subcollection EX NIHILO LES INTERDITES. The composition was created as a modern chypre and meant to convey an affirmation of Parisian femininity, which is free-spirited and sophisticated. The key notes of the composition are passionate raspberries, whose irresistible fruity aspect is enriched with a warm and seductive blend of leather and musk.

The fragrance Love Shot will be available in 50ml and 100ml flacons, priced at 180 and 260 EUR, and can be found in exclusive sales at Galeries Lafayette from February 4th to 14th 2016.
