Yves Saint Laurent launches its yearly limited edition fragrance Paris Premieres Roses in spring 2015. The packaging and the bottle of this year's flanker are decorated by Japanese artist, painter and graphic designer Houx Que.
Houx Que creates in the dark with fluorescent colors that he sprinkles on walls and floors. The result is an ultra-modern, colorful design that represents the effect of the flamboyant flower. The artist said that his goal was to "radicalize rose" so it is neither classic nor romantic.
The composition opens with accords of wild rose, violet leaf and neroli. A bouquet of damask rose, peony and lily of the valley is in the heart, laid on the base of white musk and sandalwood.
