As I mentioned a few weeks ago, Goodsmella Carlos J. Powell began his own forum in August, three years ago. He challenged a number of independent perfumers to create fragrances based on those three tenets: Peace, Love, and Perfume.
Here is the perfumers' brief:
Peace – a meditative incense fragrance
Love – a sexy animalic fragrance
Perfume – a traditional cologne with a twist.
Love – a sexy animalic fragrance
Perfume – a traditional cologne with a twist.
Candice Edmunds Jurko of CJ Scents has created a very lovely cologne adhering to the brief which Carlos Powell requested of the participating perfumers in his project.
I'm most grateful for her beautiful, fragrant submission.
For Candice, Perfume is a departure of sorts from her more customarily gourmand-like fragrances. This is an inclusively gender-friendly, sprightly cologne which wears like an eau de parfum: it opens with the juiciness of blood orange and blooms into a white floral muskiness anchored by the moderating aridity of myrrh. Refreshing, satisfying, and attractive: I can see most anyone wearing Candice's submission with distinct pleasure.
Notes: orange blossom, myrrh, musk, blood orange [and more which are trade secrets].
