Sarah Jessica Parker has launched a new version of her 2010 fragrance dedicated to capturing her TV character Carrie Bradshaw's vision of New York City, now available in a more intense concentration as SJP NYC Eau de Parfum...
As we wrote in our review of the perfume in 2010, Carrie was looking at her city of adoption with a determined sense of fun and her usual bubbly spirit as if she were wearing pink-tinted and strawberry-scented sunglasses.
The fragrance notes are exactly the same as the ones listed for the original eau de toilette, so just expect more of the same, amplified and with a new sense of balance.
The new eau de parfum features top notes of mandarin from Italy, white Osmanthus and red wild strawberries with a heart of gardenia, honeysuckle, mimosa and red Damascena rose coming to rest on a base of vanilla absolute, sandalwood, rum and creamy musks.
The packaging is more floral than the original one - and was used in the past for a repackaged EDT - but still shows Carrie Bradshaw's love of patterns and mix-and-match.
The launch is so discreet, we wondered if it had even occurred but apparently someone has smelled it in 2016.
