Parfums Christian Dior updated their La Collection Privée with four elixirs designed to complement and enrich the fragrances from the "haute" line: there can be foundRose, Ambre, Oud and Musc.
| The oil elixirs are produced in tiny bottles of 3 ml, and the official website of Christian Dior gives recommendations by François Demachy on their use. For example, according to the in-house perfumer,Élixir Précieux Ambre is made for wearing with New Look 1947(oriental shades enhance the floral character of this fragrance), Oudemphasizes the chypre line in Gris Montaigne, Musc makes Granvillemore masculine, and the absolutes and essence of Turkish rose inRose transform woody Bois d'Argent. |  |
The oils are recommended for application immediately before using fragrances from La Collection Privée, and on pulse points: décolleté, neck or wrist.
