Room 1015 is a young French perfume house founded by Michael Partouche, pharmacologist by education and rock-animal by nature. All his scents are related to certain aspects of the music culture of the XXth century, as is the name of the barnd itself.
Dr. Mike collaborates on creating his juices with the parisian based perfumers Anne-Sophie Behaghel and Amélie Bourgeois from Flair creative studio (read more on themhere).
The new fragrance, called Power Ballad, is devoted to the 90’s era, "when life was easy-breazy, ripe for the taking, full of French kisses and chewing gum. Life was carefree, with a close-knit clan in Doc Martens and old leather. Life was rebellious, pulsing to the sound of power ballads, love tapes, Glam rock and first drinking sprees. Androgynous silhouettes glow clean and sensual." - Room 1015 press-release
”A fresh, spicy and leathery fragrance inspired by High School years in the 90s, when we were dancing on Heavy Metal power ballads. I remember my first French kiss with notes of Gin and Tequila, The chewing gum stolen proudly from the mouth of a lover, like a trophy, An era with the Grunge style as a symbol of rebellion: destroyed denim jeans, checked shirts, leather jacket, Doc Martens and bleached hair.”Dr. Mike
If you are interested in the whole image of the brand Room 1015, we highly recommend reading Miguel's review from the previous Esxence Trade Show (2015); and as soon as I get a sample of Power Ballad, I will write about this one too.
