Yves Rocher Secret d`Essences Rose Oud

Yves Rocher's Secret d'Essences has received a new edition: ROSE OUD joins the unique collection known for characteristic fragrances and the best and rarest natural ingredients. This is not the only fragrance of the collection that was inspired by rose; Yves Rocher introduced Rose Absolue and its lighter interpretation, Rose Absolue Eau de Toilette Fraiche in 2006. Damascus rose was selected for the new perfume, which would intertwine its aromas with the warmth and depth of woody oud. The perfumer of Rose Oud is Annick Menardo.

"Rose Oud provides well-known, legendary oriental essence of oud taking you for an olfactive journey. That is interchangeably woody, animalistic and mysterious ingredient with extreme power. In order to tame it, I used Damascus rose, because I rounded up the fragrance in sensual way thanks to femininity and fruity-spicy structure of the rose. Two powers – light and darkness, attract each other by forming a unique composition, the very essence of sensuality. Labdanum notes are spiced with chords of cumin to create a blend that exudes generous warmth" – stated Annick Menardo on the occasion of the new creation.

ROSE DAMASCENA - Damascus rose in this fragrance provides fruity shades, which are delicately spiced and very feminine. Its notes ensure gentle softness in the perfume.

ESSENCES OF OUD - provide warm, comfortable and gentle animalistic notes of wood and its zest to the composition. The multifaceted, intense scent of oud creates an addictive effect, as well as a dose of sensuality and mystery.

Key notes of the composition of YVES ROCHER ROSE OUD are: Damascus rose, oud, labdanum, cumin. The fragrance arrives in a flacon that takes the shape of previous fragrances of Yves Rocher Secret d'Essences and is colored in dark purple. The fragrance will be available as 50ml Eau de Parfum. It will be welcomed on the market in January 2016.
