Guerlain launches the luxury limited edition Flacon Tortue for the holiday season of 2015. The full name of the perfume is "Flacon Tortue Parfum Exceptional Edition", and its scent is a reincarnation of Parfum du 68 from 2013, or rather its intense version, Extrait du 68.
The opulent floral - woody and spicy fragrance was created by Thierry Wasser. Its composition consists of accords of mandarin, pink pepper, immortelle, jasmine, osmanthus, benzoin, vanilla and tonka bean.
The name comes from the turtle-shaped bottle, which was first launched in 1913, after the opening of the Paris Guerlain boutique on the Champs Elysees 68. It was designed by Jacques Guerlain.
Top notes: mandarin, pink pepper, magnolia, cardamom, apricot Heart: immortelle, osmanthus, jasmine, rose, orange blossom Base: benzoin, vanilla, tonka bean, cedar, white musk, incense |
The bottle is created by the famous French crystal factory Baccarat. Each bottle is made by hand and decorated with silk threads which are interwoven in a unique way.
The perfume is available in 47 bottles of 60 ml at the price of 9500 Euros.
