Netherlands-based natural perfumer Hiram Green has given us two amazing releases so far, beginning with his first fragrance, luscious floral Moon Bloom in 2013, and his 2014 release Shangri La, an exotic fruity chypre. His scents have earned rave reviews and captured the hearts of many perfume lovers, delighting both natural perfume purists and perfumistas whose tastes encompass the entire perfume spectrum, thanks to his surprisingly complex and sophisticated blends.
We're coming up on a year since Shangri La's release, and Hiram Green has announced his next fragrance creation, the oriental-themed Voyage. An ode to the exotic mysteries of India, the house suggests Voyage will be "as atmospheric and thrilling as a Mysore street market and as opulent as Octopussy's floating palace on Lake Pichola."
With Voyage, Green offers an intoxicating blend of fresh citrus top notes, a heart of warm amber and luscious suede over a smooth vanilla base. Like all fragrances of the collection, Voyage is a 100% natual eau de parfum. Voyage is also a imited edition for which only 250 bottles are available.
Voyage will officially launch at the end of October, but Hiram Green is making it available for pre-sale with a special offer. Pre-order now and receive a FREE 5 ml travel atomizer of your choice of Hiram Green fragrances with your purchase of a 50 ml Voyage eau de parfum. This offer runs until November 1 and is available only on the official Hiram Green website.
I've enjoyed both Moon Bloom and Shangri La, so Voyage has moved to the top of my test list this month. (North American friends: has anyone else noticed that the current exchange rate makes European goods an attractive option right now, even with international shipping costs?) I'll share my impressions of the new scent with Fragrantica readers in the near future.
