The 2014 release of Valentino Uomo has been a success both commercially and aesthetically, with the leathery goodness of the original turning heads and gaining fans. The faceted bottle, elaborate and heavy in the hand, was no less a factor for its success story than the juice inside.
VALENTINO UOMO 2015
perfumer: Olivier Polge key notes: bergamot, myrttle, hazelnut, leather, cedar, gianduja chocolate, coffee beans |
Now, the bottle gains a total black "smoking" look, to denote seriousness and edgy glamor, as well as to reflect the Italian elegance of the fashion designer's suits, in a new edition that will hit counters starting on March 9th 2015. Even the label, Valentino, is created in matte black like a high tech gadget.
The deliciousness of the scent remains a given. Perfumer Olivier Polge's mix includes notes of bergamot and myrttle, segueing into a chord of hazelnut, leather, cedar, gianduja chocolate and roasted coffee beans.
The limited edition will retail at 83 euros for 100ml and will be soon available at a major department store next to you.
