J. Junaid Jamshed is one of the top celebrity brands of Pakistan and also the first ever brand to produce their own line of fragrances alongside garments. The brand J. Junaid Jamshed debuted in 2002 as garment merchant with its first outlet in Karachi and soon established itself as a successful celebrity brand with its numerous outlets in 14 cities of Pakistan.
In 2003 J. introduced its line of fragrances. To develop the best fragrances, J.'s R & D department linked itself with top fragrance companies of the industry like Givaudan, MANE and Iberchem. J. Junaid Jamshed Fragrances offers best products at best prices to its Customers," says the Manager of Business Development (Perfume Division), Mr. Junaid Ur Rehman, who happens to be Junaid Jamshed's name's sake.
A bit of background information of the brand's creator, Junaid Jamshed. Before embarking on his journey into garments and fragrances, Junaid Jamshed took the start of his career as a lead singer of the first Pakistani pop music group, Vital Signs, in 1987. The group saw great years of flourishing success until they split up in 1995. In 1997, a new chapter began in the life of Junaid Jamshed. He was more focused on religion and devoted himself to Islam. In 2002, Junaid Jamshed said his final goodbye to the world of music in an announcement at a press conference. Hence, the brand J. Junaid Jamshed came into existence since then and has been growing among the top successful celebrity brands of Pakistan.
Introducing the J. fragrances, I will start with the latest launch of five fragrances for women in Escents of Appeal. They are available as 25 ml purse sprays at a reasonable price.
A Floral Fruity Gourmand fragrance. Top notes are litchi, quince and kiwi; middle notes are jasmine and white chocolate; base notes are orris root, musk and woody notes.
A Floral Fruity Gourmand fragrance. Top notes are sour cherry and fruity notes; middle notes are marshmallow, almond and sweet notes; base notes are woody notes and powdery notes.
A Floral Woody Musk fragrance. Top notes are pear, ambrette (musk mallow) and grapefruit; middle notes are turkish rose, ylang-ylang, dried plum and plum; base notes are patchouli, musk, madagascar vanilla, amber and cashmere wood.
A Floral Woody Musk fragrance. Top notes are litchi and ambrette (musk mallow); middle notes are iris and osmanthus; base notes are amber, patchouli and musk.
A Floral Fruity fragrance. Top notes are pear, mandarin orange and punch; middle notes are honeysuckle, peach and orange blossom; base notes are honey, vanilla and woody notes.
All five fragrances are worth the wear and make delicately nice fragrances for everyday as well as formal wear. I picked my most favorite ones to be Topaz, Rubyand Sapphire. The juices come in five eye-catching colors representing their respective names. Smelling J. Fragrances is absolutely a great experience for being well-crafted, elegant, of good quality and with impressive longevity. Some more launches in both Men's and Women's fragrances include:
Floral Fruity fragrance for women. Top notes are bergamot, tangerine, apple, black currant and nectarine; middle notes are magnolia, gardenia, lily-of-the-valley, freesia and jasmine; base notes are amber, patchouli, musk, sandalwood and vanilla.
Floral Woody fragrance for women. Top notes are citruses and peony; middle notes are rose and osmanthus; base notes are patchouli and sandalwood.
Floral Woody Musk fragrance for women. Top notes are violet leaf, ylang-ylang, tuberose and orange blossom; middle notes are peach, plum, narcissus and jasmine; base notes are sandalwood, vetiver, vanilla, amber and musk.
Oriental Fougere fragrance for men. Top notes are italian lemon, mint and green apple; middle notes are geranium and spicy notes; base notes are tonka bean, vanilla, ambroxan and woody notes.
Oriental Fougere fragrance for men. Top notes are pineapple, bergamot, apple and black currant; middle notes are rose, birch, patchouli, jasmine and woody notes; base notes are oakmoss, ambergris and vanilla.
Aromatic Fougere fragrance for men. Top notes are citruses and fruity notes; middle notes are sweet notes and spicy notes; base note is woody notes.
From these I picked Marjaan, Tabeen and Shaheer to be my favorites, but on the whole each fragrance holds its unique characteristics and personality. Currently, J.
