Kate Spade launches a new perfume called Walk On Air, coming out in March 2015, revolving around femininity and the city of New York. The fragrance is casual, relaxed, everyday ...
"I wanted to reimagine one of my favorite floral themes, the one at the origin of my love of fragrances: lily of the valley ... As a teenager interested in both perfumes and botany, I was enamored with the images I found in books depicting their delicate white bells and the elegant, lush coupled leaves that protect them," explained Rodrigo Flores-Roux, the perfumer behind Walk on Air. |
The composition is a fresh, airy floral with a focus on lily of the valley. It opens with linden blossom, Calabrian bergamot, maiden’s hair fern, Solomon's seal and Tunisian neroli, with the heart of lily, magnolia, Egyptian jasmine and narcissus. The base notes include a mix of crinum lily, white iris and violet leaf.
