Simone Cosac: New Scents from the White Secret Garden Collection

Even several months after Pitti Fragranze there are new scents to talk about. Today I somehow thought about the aroma of lilac, which is really rather rare in perfumery and this led me to remember Osé fragrance (which, regardless of its awful pink bottle, I liked a lot) from the new fragrant launch by Simone Cosac Profumi. The house was founded in 2008 and, like many others, uses a legend from its rich Italian historic past. Simone Cosac, founder of the house, bought one Villa La Tana which used to belong to Bianca Cappello, long-time lover and later wife of Grand Duke of Tuscany Francesco I de'Medici.  She made the story of the love affair between Bianca and Francesco a legend of her perfume house. So, we are in Bianca's garden.

The White Secret Garden Collection was launched in 2012 with Trama and Trama Nera scents. In 2014 the collection was expanded with four new fragrances: Bianca,Peccato, Sublime and Osé.

A secret garden appears at the heart of Villa la Tana, on the legendary hills that embrace Florence. Neroli and Roses are gracefully interwoven with ivy and wisteria, creating a magic and mysterious atmosphere: the world of Simone Cosac.

A mixture of boldness and subtlety, strength and gentleness: Villa la Tana’s garden epitomizes the history of this ancient house and becomes a source of inspiration for exquisite blends. The scent of neroli diffuses all around the garden and a memory is reproduced through sinuous cypress tones: the reminiscence of noblewoman Bianca Cappello’s delicate steps.

Behind the perfumes of this collection there is French nose Sonia Constant, who also created this year one of the Pozzo di Borgo perfumes (19 Mai 1957) and some time ago, Cuirs Carner Barcelona and Eutopie #3.
