The classic fresh masculine fragrance by Dior—Eau Sauvage from 1966, was re-interpreted in a new format, as Eau Sauvage Cologne, in the spring of 2015. As for Eau Sauvage Parfum edition from 2012, vintage photographs and recordings of French actor Alain Delon were used for the advertising campaign ofEau Sauvage Cologne.
The fresh citrusy-spicy and woody composition begins with accords of Calabrian bergamot, mandarin and bitter grapefruit. The heart notes include galbanum, petitgrain, hedione and pink pepper, while the base consists of woody tones of vetiver.
