Everyone needs a little warm and fuzzy. Boozy, even.
Every year Dawn Spencer Hurwitz releases a holiday fragrance—and this year, it is a variation-on-a-theme: a more opulent version of her much-loved Vanilla Bourbonnamed Vanilla Bourbon Intense.

What I will say is that those who have loved and lamented L'Artisan Parfumeur's discontinued Havana Vanille need look no further. Vanille Bourbon Intense is just that: boozy, spicy, and warming. Just the thing when life feels bitter cold and dreary, or you want to float above your corporeal self—astrally projecting before bedtime.
There are many fragrances with which to medicate oneself before a winter's sleep, and this is a fine choice.
There are several scented products available: oil essence in a rollerball format, edp, body wash, body lotion, body oil, and unctuous shea butter cream. I ordered blind [two days later, samples arrived, post-facto!] body oil and the oil essence. That body oil goes a long way—and your skin feels marvelous afterwards. [I have the body wash and oil in Vanille Botanique, and frankly, it's very like having Mona Di Orio's Vanille in another format, only drier and woodier. Another glorious purchase, if you crave a very sophisticated vanilla.]
