Dior Sauvage - Johnny Depp Takes A Road Trip Through The Desert (2015)

Dior have started to unveil teaser images from their new ad campaign featuring actor Johnny Depp for a new men's perfume, Sauvage...

The new scent is named after one of Dior classic men's fragrances, Eau Sauvage.

The packaging is distancing itself from that in-house perfumery reference however, looking closer in its color-coded appearance to Chanel Bleu de Chanel edp and Bleu de Chanel edt. The commercial for it is shot using a similar palette of black blues.

Sauvage eau de toilette is said to be a fresh and ambery wood. Main notes are a bergamot from Calabria, pepper bark from Sichuan and Ambrox, a synthetic recreation of ambergris.

Johnny Depp will be the hero of a road movie to recount the story of the scent. Dior are currently teasing their followers on Instagram with stills from the film entitled "Into the Wild."

Launch date is Sept. 2, 2015.
